We have prepared a huge number of detailed Expert Reports for litigation before NCAT, Local, District and the Supreme Court. We work with many solicitors on a repeat basis that specialise in construction. We have assisted numerous property owners attain complete demolition and re-construction because of structural design and building defects which cannot be remedied.
As Professional engineers and design practitioners registered under the Design & Building Practitioners Act no 7 2020 with the NSW Department of Fair-Trading we are authorised to provide structural engineering advice (Expert Reports for litigation) and regulated designs for remedial work on Class 2 buildings (apartment buildings).
As forensic structural engineers we will identify the nature of the defects that have led to the structural failure, cracking, water ingress, concrete cancer, whether they are design or construction oriented and prepare a detailed report with supporting evidence for litigation in accordance with your solicitor's instructions.
Alternatively, we can provide you an Opinion Report in the first instance, identifying design and/or construction issues which in-turn you may provide to your design professional and/or builder with view of friendly settlement, thus avoiding costly litigation proceedings.
We have the expertise to identify and report on all structural defects including swimming pool, magnesite issues and concrete cancer, cracks, subsidence, review of structural designs to identify any design defects and structural defects caused during the execution of construction.
